Program Overview
The Weld County Colorado Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by Colorado State University to help the community with various horticultural issues such as vegetable gardening, plant pest and disease diagnosis, and landscape maintenance. Colorado Master Gardeners provide research-based information about gardening to the public by teaching classes, writing articles for local newspapers, answering emails and phone calls, and hosting an information booth at events such as farmers markets in Greeley, Windsor and Frederick. Weld County Colorado Master Gardeners also provide soil testing kits and instructions on how to conduct a soil sample.
